General Check-Ups
Annual health check-ups are a great way to take stock of your health and identify factors which may be putting you at a higher risk.
Supporting You at All Life Stages
There is no standard time frame for health check-ups as family history, pre-existing illness and medication that you are on can change the review intervals. Various health checks are available based on your medical condition, age and ethnicity – please discuss with our doctors what is recommended.
Basics such as blood pressure, body mass index (BMI – height and weight) and waist size are important basic measurements that should be recorded for everyone on a regular basis. Depending on your medical history, family history and pre-existing condition the doctor might add few more things to the above standard list.
We aim to improve health and quality of life by providing a structured way of identifying health issues and conditions that are potentially amenable or even preventable. Talk to your doctor about a check-up relevant to your current stage in life.
Various health assessments and management plans are available based on your eligibility and needs – please discuss with our doctors to determine if you are eligible. The Australian Government funds the annual recommended health assessment for the age group of 75 years and over.
For the younger age group, we offer health checks that include the following:
- BMI – height and weight
- Waist measurement
- ECG
- Blood pressure
- Basic blood test
Depending on your medical history, family history and pre-existing conditions, the doctor might add a few more things to the above standard list.
